I think my favourite was Benjamin Button (aka The Curious Case of Thomas Beckett) although Nick & Nora was pretty 'whimsical' heh :)

Saw Wachmen last night. I thought it was awesome. I'd read some of it and it was enough to know what was going on but also that a lot of it was still a surprise, so I think it was pretty much the right amount. I wonder what it would have been like if you hadn't read any, whether it would still make any sense.

I totally love our movie marathons. How come our film nights never work but we when decide to do something else we end up staying up really late and watching loads of films??

Confusing. So yesterday after having all-you-can eat indian (yums) and wandering round town for a bit we decided to grab some beers, watch a film and head to the party in Wincheap. Cept we never made it to the party, we watched HSM3 (again :) ), the Number 23 which wasn't as interesting as it thought it was but was still pretty enjoyable, and Eden Lake which was brutal but amazing, some scences were really horrifying and the ending was awesome, I think ben spent the whole film hiding behind a pillow hehe.

Rest of the week's been pretty awesome too, FACE last night, Ruby's on Tuesday, Revolutionary Road on weds and Sunshine on thurs.

Last weekend was london adventure to see CFT play at the purple turtle in Camden. Just about 20 minutes before we were due to leave it started snowing so the drive up was pretty interesting. We decided to still head up but changed our minds for about 5 minutes when luke's brakes locked up on a particularly icy patch and we nearly ran into the back of somebody on the motorway. They started gritting the roads pretty soon after that though so it was alright and it had barely started snowing in london when we got there. Driving round london was a bit of a nightmare the directions we had were pretty useless so we gave up on them and just sorta guessed heh. Got to the venue and there was no one there so we went and had a bit of a wander round camden, it was the second time I've been there and both times were pretty much the coldest days ever!! Still, making luke go into cyberdog was pretty funny, had some food at the market and then went to lloyds bar, I had a choclate brownie sundae, yum.

By the time we got back to the venue stoo and ppl were there so we went in dicked about for a while before the show. Discovered toffee-apple flavour cider, which was I think was nice but really sweet. The show was good but was really empty coz of the shitty weather, unfortunately we could only stay for the start of stoo's band's set coz we needed to get back to canterbury to get into the penny to watch the superbowl. When we got outside the whole place was covered in snow and it was really nice driving through london all covered in white. The motorway was a bit of a hassle though as only some of it had been cleared, pulling over on the hard shoulder in the 'blizzard' so Mak didn't piss himself was pretty hilarious though, as was luke being convinced we were all gonna die coz someone was gonna smash into us.

Didn't take us too long to get back considering and we made it to the Penny just after the start of the game. The Superbowl was amazing, was a really exciting game even though the team we were supporting didn't win and it came right down to the end. Spent far too much money but I guess it was pretty much two nights out in one. Quite an epic day :)

Wow that entry was a lot longer than I was expecting, two weekends ago at the wrestling was pretty immense as well :)

Last night we watched slumdog millionaire, was awesome but most people didn't seem to find it as disturbing as I did, I thought some of it was horrible :o

Monday at hades was actually cool, I think it works a lot better there (in the foundry) than it did at the beercart.

Back at uni now and I've finally got my modules sorted. I'm trying to do lots of work although I seem to have spent procrastinating all day heh.

Sunday night invloved seeing luke's team get annihilated in the NFL playoffs which was fun, and had exciting food :)

Hopefully should be cinema again tonight, although we're still not sure what to see...

After talking last night I've decided to write in this more, to keep a track of what I've been doing, so...

Last night after attempting to make spaghetti bolagnase with far too much mince, and not watcing a movie, we went out to the Hob for Manaal's birthday. Awesome night, even though I think we spent the whole night in just two pubs. Really shouldn't have had that spirit in Spoons tho!

On another note Cusquena is disgusting.

I'm back in england now, adventure in the far east was incredible and consisted mainly of: amazing food, snorkling off a coral reef, parasailing, reading my sister's In Touch and Us Weekly, watching nanny mcphee twice in about two days, making up secret hand-gestures with my sister, people thinking I was prince harry, people thinking I was german, being offered prostitutes, far too many germans in tight, tight speedos, going up a canopy walk in the rainforest that nearly made me cry, visitng temples, cocktails by the pool, crocodiles, monkeys, and baby turtles.

I have also deduced from watching the disney channel with my cousins that: the powerpuff girls rule, miley cyrus and the jonas brothers are pretty much the biggest superstars in the world, and selena gomez is definately one for the future.

Anyway, I'm off to asda now to get some foods.

This week has been awesome, next week really HAS to involve less money tho as I've kinda raped my funds, whoops :/

Currently filling in applications for training contracts with law firms, except they're for 2 years time so I've basically gotta work out where I want to live 2 years from now, which is pretty weird. Do I want to move to London, hmmmm.

    Party tonight woo
